THE MOST INFORMATIVE FUN AND EXCITING CONFERENCE YOU CAN GO TO IN THE YEAR ON LGBT ISSUES IN EDUCATION in MANCHESTER on 2ND FEBRUARY
Understanding gender and sexuality is essential for new teachers, long standing teachers, heterosexual teachers and lesbian, gay bisexual or trans teachers. It is also vital to understand in order to meet new legal and Ofsted requirements.
This one day conference will equip you with the knowledge and skills to make your school safer, more inclusive, and more celebratory of the rich diversity within your school. It is open to all those in education, from Primary through to Higher Education. The theme this year is science, technology engineering and maths though we welcome people from every discipline. The day will involve hearing from key speakers, including Ofsted and some VIPs, engaging in interactive workshops, watching exclusive LGBT theatre in education performances and culminating in a lively debate on the theme- This house would welcome the discovery of the ‘Gay Gene’.
